Contrary to rumors surrounding an alleged relationship with Richgirl group member Audra Simmons, “Thinkin’ About You” singer Mario says he’s very much single.
“I’m enjoying my life,” Mario told Upscale recently. “I would love to have a girlfriend right now but I am single”.
Rumors of his alleged relationship with Simmons kicked off shortly after her appearance in his music video for “Break Up” feat. Sean Garrett. According to Mario that is not the case as his focus is on what he calls “the ultimate gift”.
“When I see a mic in front of me I just do what I do, like Marvin (Gaye) would do if he was here, like James (Brown) would do if he was here, like Mike (Michael Jackson) would do if he was here. That is what DNA (album) is about for me. This is what I was born to do. I think this is what my ultimate gift is. That is what I want people to recognize.”
Mario’s latest effort “D.N.A.” is in stores now, featuring the hit single “Break Up” and its follow up “Thinkin’ About You”.

Am glad to know mario is more focused on his music than in relathionships. I love to know that the ice is broken and that the rumours were not true.I have mario’s new album and have to say its a masterpiece.He is a good vocalist and i have all his album plus his mixtape.
